Add/Remove Windows Components



1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and select "Control Panel" from the menu that appears.

2. Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.

3. Click the "Windows Setup" tab.

4. Click a component.

5. To remove the entire component from your computer, uncheck the box.

6. To remove certain parts of the component, click the "Details..." button, and uncheck the parts you want to remove.

7. To add components, just check their boxes. (You can also click "Details..." to customize what parts of the component are added.)

Tip: If you are adding components, be sure to have your Windows CD near. You may need it.

8. Once you are finished selecting components, click "Apply". Windows will now make the changes to your system.

9. Click OK.
